How to test Heating Element

Before starting the electrical components test, the high voltage capacitor must first be discharged from its charge by touching the screwdriver end with the oven body, and then touching the end of the screwdriver at the end of the condenser.

1 – high voltage transformer:

 2-High voltage condenser test:
Intensive testing by Avometer to be controlled at maximum resistance.
When the capacitor is intact, it gives a small resistance at first, and once it is charged, it gives a resistance of 0.9M.
If the capacitor has an internal mansion, it is given a small resistance in a sustained manner and if the capacitor is open it is given 9M resistance permanently. The resistance between the ends of the condenser and the furnace should be measured during the installation of the condenser and it shall be infinity.

3 – standardized test:

After separating the unit from the electric circuit, the uniformity of the unit is selected using the aviometer to measure the resistivity of the uniform in the forward and reverse direction. The uniform impedance must be in the direction of several hundred K, while the uniform resistivity in the opposite direction is endless0.6V or 9V battery voltage otherwise the device reading will be equal to ∞ in both directions.

4 – Magnetron test:

With alphaometer, the resistance of the magnetron filament is measured to be one ohm and the insulation between the ends of the magnetron and the furnace is equal to ∞, the magnetron output capacity can be measured in the manner described in the output power test.

5-Test Relays Capacity:

The power relays can be tested by aviometer, where the coil resistance and the relay resistance are tested to ensure that they are open in normal mode. To ensure that the relay is working normally, voltage must be connected on the ends of the relay coil. This voltage is equivalent to the rated voltage of the relay coil, Put feathers touching the open feathers in the normal position become closed and vice versa.

  1. Temperature sensor test:1. Place a glass cup of 500 cc (3 cm) with 300CC of water in the center of the rotary tray.2. Set the oven to 55 ° C and fill the oven.
    When you hear the sound, then the heating is finished, remove the cup and the water well, then measure the water temperature by thermometer. If it is about 50: 63C, this means that the temperature sensor is correct.
  2. Moisture probe test:To test the validity of the probe, measure the resistance of the sensor after removing it from the circuit. If it is approximately 6 minutes, the sensor is correct in principle, and the resistance of the probe may change from one to the other, so refer to the oven service manual prepared by the manufacturer.8 – Testing the electronic circuit:Do not touch any part of the electronic circuit because this may lead to damage due to the shipments of technology.
